Early Morning

• Morning Game Drive:
  • 6:00 AM - 9:30 AM: After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Serengeti. During this time, you will have the opportunity to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt and interact with their environment.
  • Serengeti is famous for its wide-open plains, which offer fantastic wildlife viewing, especially in the early hours of the morning when animals are more active.

Midday

• Return to Camp for Lunch:
  • 12:30 PM: Head back to your camp or lodge for a leisurely lunch. You will have a chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before continuing your game drive in the afternoon.

Afternoon

• Afternoon Game Drive:
  • 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Embark on an afternoon game drive, heading to different parts of the park to discover new wildlife sightings. Depending on the season, you may be lucky enough to witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras (usually from July to October).
  • Serengeti’s vast landscapes provide opportunities for incredible photographic moments, especially during golden hour as the sun sets.

Evening

• Return to Lodge for Dinner:
  • 7:00 PM: Head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Enjoy the evening at your lodge, sharing stories of your day's wildlife sightings.

Morning

• Drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro:
  • 7:00 AM: After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. The drive will take approximately 4 hours, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may encounter wildlife on the way.
  • Along the way, your guide will explain the history and geology of the area, especially the significance of the Ngorongoro Crater as one of the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuaries.

Afternoon

• Arrival at Ngorongoro Crater:
  • 12:30 PM: Arrive at your lodge or camp near the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Options include Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, or Rhino Lodge. You will be greeted with spectacular views of the crater floor below.
• Lunch:
  • 1:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at your accommodation.

Late Afternoon

• Afternoon Crater Safari:
  • 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM: After lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a true natural wonder. This collapsed volcanic caldera is home to over 25,000 animals, including elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, and the endangered black rhino.
  • You will spend the afternoon exploring the crater floor, stopping for wildlife sightings and enjoying the stunning landscape.
• Return to Lodge:
  • 6:00 PM: After the game drive, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation.

Early Morning

• Morning Game Drive in the Crater:
  • 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM: After an early breakfast, descend back into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators such as lions and hyenas, as they are often more active in the early morning.
  • Depending on the season, you may also witness migration patterns or large herds of wildebeest and buffalo moving across the plains.

Late Morning

• Return to the Crater Rim:
  • 9:30 AM: After your game drive, ascend back to the crater rim and enjoy a short break, taking in the breathtaking views.

Lunch and Drive to Arusha

• Lunch:
  • 12:00 PM: Enjoy a packed lunch or a meal at your lodge before starting your journey back to Arusha.
• Drive Back to Arusha:
  • 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Drive back to Arusha for approximately 3.5 hours, arriving in the late afternoon.

Evening

• Arrive in Arusha:
  • Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your flight home.
